Nina Sahraoui est professeur adjoint à l'Université Paris Saclay et directrice du projet GENDEREDCLIMATEMIG qui étudie les facteurs environnementaux de la migration d'un point de vue sexospécifique. Ses recherches se situent au carrefour des études sur la migration et le genre et ont jusqu'à présent abordé les questions du travail de soins, des frontières et de la délimitation des frontières, de l'humanitarisme, des soins de santé maternelle et de la violence fondée sur le genre. Après deux ans d'expérience professionnelle à l'École de gouvernance et d'économie de Rabat (Maroc), Nina a terminé son doctorat à L'Université métropolitaine de Londres dans le cadre du réseau Marie Skłodowska-Curie ITN Changing Employment. Elle a ensuite rejoint le projet EU Border Care à l'Institut universitaire européen, menant des recherches à Mayotte (un département français d'outre-mer) ainsi qu'à Ceuta et Melilla. Deux autres postes postdoctoraux ont porté sur la violence fondée sur le genre dans les contextes migratoires dans le cadre du projet international GBV-MIG, d'abord à l'université nationale de Galway, puis au Centre de recherches sociologiques et politiques de Paris (CRESPPA, CNRS). Enfin, Nina a récemment terminé la bourse Marie Skłodowska-Curie CyberGen au CRESPPA autour des expériences des femmes d'origine marocaine et turque qui ont grandi en France et en Allemagne.
